“Restaurants in Ginza” sounds expensive and people tend to feel hesitation to visit, but there are many reasonable restaurants for lunch♪ Especially, lunch on weekdays!!
So, I decided to go “Tempra Abe” which is placed in middle of Ginza.
This is the entrance.
The master, Mr.Abe, had been working and trained over 30 years at famous Japanese traditional restaurant “Nadaman”. Nadaman is one of the most famous restaurant of long standing in Japan.
It is my honor to get chance to have lunch cooked by such a chef of wide fame!!

Please use an elevator to go the first floor of basement. There were already 4 people waiting for seats to open, and 10 min later, I was told to have a seat on a counter seat.

I cannot believe their price! How could it happen to have “Kakiage-rice bowl” for only ¥900, and “Great shrimp rice bowl” for ¥1000! (Kakiage is one kind of tempra which contains mixed vegetables and seafood)
It is so rare to have meal in such a reasonable price in Ginza, especially cooked by a well-trained chef from “Nadaman”.
Moreover, it includes pickles, miso soup, and tax too!! I ordered “Kakiage-bowl”♪ I am starved…
“Kakiage-bowl”
There was a cheerful voice saying “Thanks for waiting!!” and he set my lunch in front of me!!! I felt a bit of dizzy with the beautiful smell.
An amazing “Kakiage-bowl”
Look carefully. You can find cut asparagus and sweet potato mixed in. The crunchy texture of asparagus is novelty to me and adding interesting flavor!
Rice catches the added sauce very well, and makes it moreish!
My, my, a soft-boiled egg creates excellent collaboration with Kakiage.
Zoomed in to Kakiage-bowl
It is different from other Kakiage in the way which they wonderfully produce great flavor of vegetables in my mouth! There is no word but just delicious!
Pickles
Pick some pickles while eating rice to resets your mouth.
Miso soup looks very normal, just by looking. But it was totally sophisticated and made the difference from soup stock!
Miso soup was neatly made from basic soup stock from fish and kelp, and representing “The high class restaurant”.
It was hard to believe that I could have such a high quality lunch in Ginza with only ¥900, but truly, it exists!
I was so satisfied with wonderful lunch with reasonable price.
