Coffee at a chic museum-like café

The stylish café is located at a ten-minute walk from several nearby stations, in the charming Yushima neighborhood. You can enjoy the beautiful landscape and scenery on your way to the café.

Look for a sign that says “みじんこ” (Mijinko), the name of the café.

The outside is very chic. The menu board is eye-catching too!

The interior is very modern and calm.
It looks like most of the customers are there on there or own or in small groups.

The room is decorated with paintings and books everywhere. It feels like I’m in a museum!

I can’t wait to have my coffee in such a lovely atmosphere.

Mijinko is very particular about the quality of the coffee they serve. They select the best coffee beans from the regions and farms that they rely on, making sure that the procedure meets their standards. This is why I give my full trust to Mijinko when it comes to coffee.

Pancakes, made with care

Mijinko’s pancakes are very popular. It takes about fifteen minutes until they are ready. The pancakes are made carefully on the hotplate. I was expecting to get tired from waiting, but it was ready before I knew it!

At Mijinko’s, the right way to eat it is with maple syrup, and no butter.
You can have second servings of the syrup so go ahead and use lots!

As I take a bite, I understand why it doesn’t come with butter.
There is no need for additional butter! The pancake itself is very flavorful. I think they used cultured butter in the batter.

The pancake absorbs the syrup and tastes even more delicious!
It’s actually quite light. You will be able to enjoy it till the end without worrying about a heavy stomach afterwards.

Wonderful service from the waiters

I had a particularly good impression on the waiters. They are all very polite, gentle and are getting their job done efficiently, all while being pleasant.

I think Mijinko is praise worthy, not only for their delicious food and drinks they prepare with care, but also for the way they train the staff. The customer is able to have an especially good time.
