10 minutes from Shibuya Station, and 3 minutes from Shinsen Station, there is a nice cozy yakitori restaurant, Karakara.
Glazed window gives a sense of fancy izakaya atmosphere.
The shop is so fashionable!
The interior made me feel as though I was in a secret base!
There are seats both on first and second floor but we chose a private room on the second floor.
The seats were hori-gotatsu (a low table over a hole in the floor) so you can relax your feet.
As for appetizer, we were offered a plateful of salad. The sakura shrimp adds a sweet taste to it!
Negitoro (raw tuna mince) melts in your mouth!
It is recommended to order seaweed separately so that you can enjoy “makizushi” (a sushi made rolled in seaweed)
All the yakitori
-130yen per one
Important: white lever and toro-tsunagi are one of the popular (they are immediately sold out) ones so it’s better to order them first.
The first is the best-recommended, white lever
It’s so soft and it doesn’t have the peculiar smell that usual lever has!
Can’t believe it’s the same lever!
Bonjiri (chicken tail) was so juicy and fresh.
Kashira is low in fat so it’s nice and healthy
You should eat the meatballs with egg yolk as it becomes milder in taste.
Side menus are also fulfilling! They are all great and tasty!
Karaage (Japanese traditional fried chicken)
They were all crispy and big in size.
The shop was so cozy and I could linger forever.
Torisashi is also very popular, it was sold out by the time we went.
If you are planning on coming to this shop, we recommend you to go at an earlier time before some parts are sold out.
