Fuuraikyo is a popular Ramen restaurant near Shibuya Tokyu Bunkamura.
Fuuraikyo is popular for Asahikawa-style Shio-Ramen (Ramen seasoned with salt) and it’s very popular among women as well!
I entered the store and bought a meal ticket.
Other than Shio-Ramen, there are Shouyu-Ramen (Ramen seasoned with soy sauce), Miso Rmane, Shio Tsukemen and more.
But whenever I come here, I always get Shio-Ramen (¥750).
There are only 10 counter-seats and some table seats in the back.
I love sitting at the counter-seat and looking at the whole process!
This is what I do when I go to a Ramen restaurant.
I make myself hungrier by looking at it!
Appearance is also nice too! It’s beautiful! I love the
When you think of Shio-Ramen, I’m sure you’ll think of transparent soup. But here, the soup is pure white!
Over a period of two days, they make the soup mellow.
By using pork bones, kelp, and fish, the soup becomes sweet and creamy but also light!
The white sesame adds an accent to the Ramen.
Ahhhhh this taste!
The rich soup… I don't think I even need noodles. The soup is just great by itself!
But of course, the noodle is what makes the Ramen complete!!
On the ramen, there are two thick grilled pork, bamboo shoots, and Jew’s-ear.
The pork was so soft and chewy!
Jew’s-ear has an interesting texture and it goes so well with the Ramen!
After eating half of it, sprinkle some Shichimi (Japanese pepper) and enjoy two different tastes.
Shichimi adds a little spice to the mild soup.
When I come here, I always end up drinking up the soup!
I always introduce this shop to my friends and everyone became a fan of this place.
You can only taste it here.
By all means, please come and try!
