Yuyuya is a Izakaya/Sanuki Udon restaurant inside Shinbashi Station.
It’s always crowded with businessmen and office ladies in the evening.
There are only tall table-seats.
I went in an earlier time so the shop wasn’t crowded.
During the day it's a Sanuki Udon shop but at night they turn into an Izakaya-style sore that serves Kushikatsu and other otsumami (snacks that goes with alcohol)
Kushikatsu is only ¥100 so it’s very reasonable!
They developed their own special powder so when it’s fried, it’s nice and crispy!
I had been eating fried food so I only ordered Udon.
I waited for a few minutes… and it arrived!
Simple but so appetizing! It’s a Tanuki Udon.
I sprinkled some Shichimi (Japanese pepper).
Itadakimasu! (an expression of gratitude before meals)
The noodle is so firm and tasty! I can’t believe I’m eating an authentic Sanuki Udon at a station!
The soup was made from sardine. I almost drank up the whole soup!
While I was eating this delicious Udon, I heard something from other tables. It was Taiko (Japanese drums)!
I decided to visit again to find out what that Taiko was for!
I encountered the Taiko again near the cashier…I’m getting more curious!
Another good thing about this shop!
You can have Onigiri (rice balls) and fried food for to-go!
Everything looks delicious!
Rice is blended with domestic rice.
It’s definitely worth eating!
I’ll come here for some Onigiri next time!
