We ordered their best-recommended, grilled pork cutlet.

The staff came to our table and basted the juicy pork cutlet with richer miso sauce. Because the pork cutlet is on a very hot pan, the sauce made a “juwa~” sound as it blended with the cutlet.

And then, the next is the waraji pork cutlet - Half with miso sauce and the other half with tonkatsu sauce.

This is for two people.

Miso soup can be changed to Tonjiru (miso soup with pork and vegetables).

You can get free rice refills as well.

There are some seasonings on the table, and they go very nicely with miso sauce. You can enjoy many different tastes.

This is the right place if you want to enjoy the taste of Nagoya.

Yabaton has some souvenirs. One of them is ice cream wrapped with Monaka. We tried Monaka with green tea ice cream. Monaka also has the trademark, pork, stamped on it ;)


Yabaton’s second floor has some private rooms.
It is recommended for girls’ lunch out as well as mothers’ lunch out with kids.


There are many kinds of private rooms, and here is good one for larger group.


The surprising thing is that Yabaton has a special tree on the second floor from Ise Shrine (the most famous shrine in Japan) and the tree is believed to bring happiness.
