The bunny design entrance curtain will greet you into the cozy and heartwarming Japanese style café.
The general style of the interior is modern. You can choose from the regular table or the one with a hearth, for a more Japanese feel.
I decided to go for the salad udon, with a mini soft ice cream for dessert.
Only five minutes later, the salad udon is placed in front of me.
The sauce is sesame flavor. Nice! There is so much salad that it almost completely covers the udon underneath!
The udon comes with a side dish of soft-boiled egg. I decided to mix it together with the udon.
The udon noodles are on the softer side. I have to say, mixing the egg was a great idea. The egg gives a richer flavor to the mild sesame sauce. So delicious! I can’t put my chopsticks down!
I thought I ordered a “mini” \100 soft ice cream, but I was served this! A beautiful “regular size” ice cream, in a charming bowl.
The fresh coffee came in a lovely cup and saucer as well.
I truly enjoyed this lovely lunch. I found the tableware to be all very elegant. Personally, I believe that plates and cups, simple tableware can make all the difference. There is beauty in using all five senses, to fully experience a meal.
As I left, I was greeted with a genuine “thank you” and “take care”. The warm service alone makes it worth coming back to Usagiya.
