Toriyoshi is located a little away from Asakusa temple, next to a famous coffee shop ‘Mountain’.
The green sign of the restaurant will catch your attention. It has two floors and it seems like when the group is big, they are passed to the second floor.
On the first floor, there are counter seats and two tables. Some foreigners were eating Yakitori Don (grilled chicken rice bowl) and seemed to be impressed.
I was passed to a counter, and I ordered Jidori-Zukushi Don (a bowl of rice with a variety of chicken on top of it).
It came after waiting for five minutes while drinking green tea.
It looks gorgeous!
Besides the bowl, the set meal includes a consommé soup with a lot of collagen, a salad and pickled vegetables.
Many pieces of leek were put on top of the minced chicken.
The well-balanced color of Yakitori (grilled chicken), egg, pieces of leek and Tsukune (chicken meatloaf made with egg) stimulated my appetite.
It definitely looks tastier when a chicken is grilled using charcoal.
Besides the chopsticks, you can use a spoon so that you can eat the minced chicken without difficulty.
This minced chicken was slightly seasoned but this allows you to taste the original flavor of chicken.
Look at this!! This is very big!
This Tsukune has a lot of gristles and its texture is somewhat nice!!
The fried egg looks deep in color than usual one and also tastes richer.
This crystal-clear soup is made from a whole chicken and various vegetables being boiled for a long time.
It contains a lot of collagen, which is quite good for your skin!
The main dish and this soup match very well.
I recommend you this well-balanced lunch meal!!!
