SUSHI DAIDOKOYA is in the middle of Dogenzaka. It’s a popular Kaiten-zushi restaurant (conveyor belt sushi).
SUSHI DAIDOKOYA is open till 5am so a lot of people come in late.
But during lunch, there’s Bara Chirashi (assortment of raw fish on a bowl of rice) and Seafood bowl for ¥500!
It’s popular among businessmen and office ladies.
But of course you can order Sushi during lunch!
There are only counter-seats!
There are many staffs! No wonder it’s so efficient!
Bara Chirashi was sold out today so I ordered Seafood bowl (¥594).
Soon after I ordered, Aosa Miso soup (sea lettuce) came!
With pickled ginger!
While I was waiting for the meal, I looked back at the menu and it was written in English too!
Even on the teacup, there’s a cute pictures of Sushi and their names in English.
Seafood bowl arrived!
Seafood bowl is so colorful! I’m getting pumped!
During lunchtimes, you can get large rice for free!
I ordered regular size but all the male customers were ordering large rice.
The sushi toppings were scallops, yellowtail, salmon, squid, shrimp, tuna, sardine, Negitoro (onion and raw tuna mince), Takuwan (yellow pickled radish) and egg.
You should enjoy each Sashimi of the seafood bowl along with Aosa Miso soup (sea lettuce).
It’s delicious!
I was really full at the end.
I saw a lot of foreigners in the store. The staffs were kindly explaining the menus.
California-don is very popular among foreigners.
Next time, I would like to order Sushi rather than a bowl menu.
Gochisousama-deshita!
