Oribe is a Sukiyaki/Shabu-Shabu restaurant that was founded more than 40 years ago.(By reservation only)
I went to Oribe after a visit to the Asakusa Kannon.
On the noren (a shop curtain with its emblem and name hung at the entrance), it had Fukunosuke and Hashinosuke Nakamura’s name on it.
They are famous people in the Kabuki world.
At first glace, it’s an old two-floor building.
The Zashiki (a room floored with tatami mats) looks like this
My recommended to me Mizutaki (an unthickened stew cooked on the table)
The restaurant served Iga cow along with Iga sake.
Let me introduce the dishes…
vegetables
meat for 2 people
The Mizutaki (boiled chicken and vegetables that are eaten after being dippred in a special sauce) here is famous for no scum.
There is a secret to this pot!
The meat is delicious, the vegetables delicious, everything is fulfilling!
Moving onto Zosui (seasoned rice-porridge with vegetables, fish, shellfish, and other ingredients).
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is calm!
Give it a shot!
