Tasty and Light Hawaiian Pancakes

“Lahaina noon” is a Hawaiian restaurant in the Shinjuku Kabuki Cho area.

Keep an eye out for this exotic looking restaurant, while walking from Kabuki Cho towards Shin Okubo.

The restaurant has two floors, with a basement floor for rest rooms.

The inside of the restaurant is as stylish as the outside. Hawaiian music fills the room. Time seems to pass by slowly in this atmosphere. A great relaxing ambiance.

I was taken to a seat by the counter. The tables around me were occupied by several groups of young women in their twenties.

Beautiful shells of the Hawaiian sea and exotic looking objects are displayed nicely on the counter.

First, I decided to order Guava Juice to try something a little different.

Look how pretty it is! I love how it looks like a fancy cocktail.

The sour sweet guava juice is so refreshing and tasty!

Now, without further due, on to the menu!

Before I actually got here, I’d already made up my mind on pancakes. Sooo that’s what I ordered!

I wait for my pancake, nibbling on the nachos.

Fifteen minutes later, my pancake is here!

I take one bite, making sure to put looots of whipped cream.

Sooo gooood!!! The thin pancake absorbs all the syrup and has a nice rich taste with a soft texture.
The whipped cream isn’t excessively sweet, so don’t be afraid to put lots on. The sweetness of the cream and sourness of the berries make a great combination!

The pancake only gets better from here as the vanilla ice cream on top starts to melt.

When I think of “Hawaiian Pancake”, I imagine something really big and heavy. But the pancakes at Lahaina noon are fairly light. I didn’t have any trouble finishing it!

Of course, the restaurant offers a variety of menus other than pancakes too. Loco Moco and Spicy Chicken looked really delicious!

I enjoyed my meal till the very end, surrounded by the friendly staff.
