There are many famous restaurants in Akabane! Most of the shops are in Ichibangai.
Despite the time, there are queues for popular restaurants.
My favourite one is Kawaei. Kawaei serves eel and Yakitori (grilled chicken).
I love the fowl dishes here!
You can also takeout Yakitori. It’s very reasonable too! Only ¥100!
I waited for 20 minutes and I was finally able to go into the restaurant.
For an appetizer, we were served smoked duck. This was soft and delicious!
Yanaka ginger!
I eat it with miso. In downtown area, we used to eat this for dinner.
It’s always delicious!
This is the main dish today.
Tori-no-sashi-mori.
Chicken breast, thighs, white meat, white lever, heart, and so on…
There are three sauces: garlic soy sauce, ginger soy sauce, and sesame oil.
All the parts are so fresh and tasty!!
Moving on to Yakitori!
I wanted to order guinea fowls and white lever but they were both sold out.
The chicken thighs, and chicken neck meat were juicy!
If you come here, I highly recommend you to order white lever and guinea fowls. You will definitely get addicted to the taste!
Shochu is so rare!
If you like to drink, enjoy some drinks while eating Yakitori.
If you don't like to drink, then enjoy Unagi (eel) to finish off.
Kawaei is so versatile!
