Find what you’re looking for and more at Tokyu Hands!
Tokyu Hands is the kind of store you know for sure that you are able to find just what you’re looking for.
From craftworks, electric lights, cosmetic goods, accessories to beddings, Tokyu Hands offers a large selection of all the everyday essential goods you can imagine.
Today, I am going to guide you through the Shibuya branch!
This “hand” mark is their logo.
I found out that the meaning behind the logo is to “create a new lifestyle with using hands”, to reassess the value of handmade goods in a materialistic society.
Wow! All this time and I never knew there was such a philosophy expressed by this “hand”!
Now without any further due, in to the store!
Something caught my eye right by the entrance.
A comfortable hammock ^_^
Tokyu Hands carries many seasonal and holiday items.
As it was almost Halloween this day, there were lots of costumes and fun Halloween theme goods!
What do you want to be this year?
There is also a section on the first floor with suitcases and carry-on bags of different sizes.
Now you can continue shopping without worrying you won’t be able to carry it all back home!
As the floors are divided into different sections, use the floor map to know what is where.
Stationary!
Erasable ballpoint pens! Use the rubber eraser on the cap.
Japanese ballpoint pens are very easy to use and are popular worldwide for their smooth touch. Pack some for your friends back home, they will love it!
It’s fun just looking at their pens, from the latest fashionable ones to unchanging fountain pens.
Bath salt!
The bath salt using Chinese herbal medicine can warm you up soothe you from the inside. It’s a great way to enjoy a relaxing bath!
Look what I also found on this floor.
It’s toothpaste!
Some interesting “flavors” like… curry and chocolate?!
Hmm, I’m curious but a bit scared to try it…
There is a selection of salon shampoos and hair treatments. You can choose the one you want with help from the samples on display.
Here are some pots, perfect for the upcoming cold season!
They come in all sizes.
I found a really cute “tomato” pot! ^_^
Look at all the bento boxes! It’s my first time seeing a round one.
Look what I’ve found!
This chubby little guy can be used for many different purposes. For example, bend his arms and legs to store your rubber bands, or use it as a weight to keep closed the lid of your cup noodles.
It looks like it could come in handy to keep one in the kitchen!
Tokyu Hands is filled with things you can only find in Japan. There is something for everybody in this large store!
The wrapping paper has the logo mark too.
You can keep it in memory of your visit.
Have fun shopping and find your favorite\(^o^)/
