From Iwamotocho station, take a two-minute walk towards Akihabara.
You will find a café that specializes in waffles, called Yale El (RL) WAFFLE CAFÉ.
The café also offers take-out menus.
If you decide to eat inside the café, you will get a variety of choices, including waffle sands filled with salmon. You can order alcoholic beverages as well.
The interior design is very charming.
Enjoy a relaxing teatime with the view from the wide windows. At the counter seats, you can even charge your phone!
I ordered an Appletiser.
The sparkling apple juice is sooo refreshing!
With the drink in my hand, I just sit back and look out the window… it feels so relaxing.
As I let myself drift away into the soothing atmosphere, my Berry Waffle arrives!
Just looking at it is exciting!
Lots of berries.
It looks so beautiful… I don’t even want to cut in to it.
….
….
……!!!!
But there is NO WAY I can resist such a tempting dessert! So here I go! “Itadakimasu!”
The sour sweet berries and rich whipped cream, all together with the flavorful waffle. Perfection!!
And the melting ice cream on the hot waffle makes it even better!!
A knockout dessert. Absolutely.
They also offer Chocolate Banana or French Style Waffles as dessert waffles, but I recommend this the Berry one, as it isn’t too heavy. It’s the ideal in-between-meals snack!
I certainly am happy to have discovered this little spot.
The dessert was delicious and the staff were lovely.
I enjoyed my stay here very much.
At a very accessible location, why don’t you stop by for a break if you are in the Akihabara area?
You won’t be disappointed!
