Uozaru is a 5-minute walk from Kichijoji Station.

Unlike the busy areas in Kichijoji, Uozaru is located in a quiet area just behind Tokyu Department store.

I love the entrance!

I came here for lunch today.

Sound of the Koto (traditional Japanese instrument) created a relaxing ambience.

I almost forgot that I had work in the afternoon.

All the table seats are spacious so you can relax and enjoy while eating the meal.

I saw some Madams with nice clothing. They were enjoying an opulent lunch.

I was looking at the menu and it has grilled fish, boiled fish, as well as Soba set!

I decided to order Uozaru set menu!

I waited for 7 minutes…

Uozaru set arrived!

It’s so colorful!!

I started from Kaisen Zushi (sushi with seafood toppings).

But wait…

it’s not the regular vinegared rice!

Instead of vinegared rice, this restaurant makes chirashi (sushi rice with a variety of ingredients such as mushrooms, sesame, and so on)!

It’s sooooo GOOD!

Just-fried Tempura!

This tempura is perfectly fried.

Although the shrimp is a little small, it’s just PERFECT. The chef is so skilled!

Sesame tofu comes in a small bowl as well.

I can’t believe this only cost ¥1000!

The staff’s service is perfect too! It made me wanna come again!

There was a cute toothpick right next to the cashier!

It was PERFECT from the beginning to end!

Recommended if you want to enjoy a relaxing lunch!
