Toutoutan is a Kaiseki restaurant, approximately 10 minutes from Higashiakiru Station.
You have to go through the trees to reach the main building.
I was so excited because I didn't know what kind of restaurant it was going to be!!
This building was renovated from an old storehouse.
There’s a restaurant and a gallery attached to it.
I will introduce the course menu that I ordered (¥6000).
But of course there are other course menus, ¥8000, ¥10000, and ¥15000)
The meals are made from seasonal ingredients.
The plates are stylish and wonderful too!
Because it’s almost rice-planting season, the rice was served in a Sanae basket.
I once again, fell in love with Japanese food.
It has a gentle taste.
There’s delicious Sake!
You can order powdered green tea together with the dessert.
The hospitality was great! The staff explained each menu in detail.
There are other floors too. There are counter-seats, terrace, private rooms as well as halls.
This is the entrance of the restaurant.
You can hear the water flowing. It calms you down.
I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a new experience.
