Takuju is a popular restaurant in Funabori area! From 11:00 to 17:00, they offer set-meals.Only a 2-minute walk from the station.
If you walk down the stairs….
what a relaxing atmosphere!
You can relax in table seats.
Set meals are…
karaage (Japanese fried chicken)
shouga-yaki (ginger-fried pork)
yaki-zakana (broiled fish)
sashimi (raw fish)
kaisen-don (fresh fish with rice)
and I ordered ‘menu of the day’. It came with sashimi, yaki-zakana, fried food, miso-soup, salad, and rice.
five minutes later…there it is!
The amount of rice…and this only costs ¥800!
The fried food are fried oysters and fried shrimps
It was so crispy!
The sashimis are tuna and amberjack, 2 pieces each. Oops I ate a piece of tuna before taking the picture!
Today’s yaki-zakana was my favourite Atka mackerel!
All the little portions go so well with rice!
‘Menu of the day’ changes everyday so it’s always fun to come to this restaurant.
You can also add a kobachi for ¥150. Kobachi has 3 pieces of karaage, fried oysters, and some other food in it.
Large rice is served as well! –recommended for gluttons.
You can also order iced coffee for ¥150. You can linger here forever.
Definitely worth stopping by!
