Srashina Maruya is a Soba restaurant in Kudanshita that has been in the place for many years.
It has become a staple food for the locals!
I sometimes see foreigners entering this Japanese style entrance.
The restaurant is vertically long and I see the kitchen in the very end of this table.
There are a few table seats too!
There are seats on the 2nd floor as well.
The interiors and the staffs haven’t changed from the old days. The atmosphere makes me feel relaxed!
There’s an abundant Soba menus and you can choose cold or hot.
Even the thin noodles are chewy! I recommend you to get cold!
10 minutes later, Soba arrived!
Itadakimasu!! (an expression of gratitude before meals)
THIS IS IT!! It’s nothing special, but it always makes me feel relaxed. I don't know why. But I guess the taste hasn’t changed from the old days.
The Shabu-shabu meat is beef and it comes with red pickled ginger. For a second, I thought I was eating gyu-don.
On top of it had Karami Daikon Oroshi (grated radish).
This Karami Daikon was SOOOO GOOD!
It adds a little spice to the Soba!
It was so light that I finished it in no time!
If you’re still hungry for some food, I recommend you to get a set that comes with a Soba and Mini Donburi (a bowl of rice with food on top).
All the menus are within ¥1000 so it’s wallet-friendly too!
I always get power when I come here. Probably because all the food is always served with the love of the workers.
I hope this remain unchanged forever.
