Negishi is a popular restaurant among foreign tourists.

The homepage and menus are both in English and Chinese.

Negishi seems to have a lot of foreign staffs too!

Ox tongue is good but I recommend barley-grated yam as well!

Depending on the table, you may be able to see the chef broiling the meat while eating your meal.

The menu has Akatan (red tongue), Shirotan (white tongue), Usugiri (thin), Atsugiri (thick) and so on…

Feel free to ask the staff. There are many foreign staffs to so don’t worry if you don’t speak Japanese.

Apart from ox tongue, there are hamburg steaks, pork, chicken and more. You can also order alcohol with some side menus.

For all the Teishoku (set meal), it comes with barley rice and grated yam.

You can always get another helping of rice.

Enjoy the barley rice first then eat the second helping with grated yam.

I hope you enjoy the taste of grated-yam as well!

The grated yam is made by grating the yam and by mixing it with Dashi (Japanese soup stock).
