If you are wandering around Iidabashi, and you’re hungry for some seafood, I definitely recommend Minatoya.
Of course dinner is good too, but I recommend you to go for lunch!
You can enjoy broiled fish and Sashimi at a reasonable price.
A Japanese-styled entrance!
The entrance is so attractive.
There are counter-seats, table seats, and Zashiki seats.
There’s a sliding door with a drawing of crane and large dishes that give a taste of Japan.
This Sashi-mori is divided into 3 levels.
The most expensive one is within ¥1500. It’s actually deluxe! If it’s your first time here, you’ll definitely be amazed.
I ordered grilled fish (¥1000).
As for grilled fish, the menu changes day by day so ask the staff before ordering.
Most of the staffs are male and they’re all energetic.
I feel like I’m getting a lot of power from them!
7 minutes later…
It’s here!!
Today’s grilled fish was salmon!
Yummmm! 3 kinds of Sashimi and two slices of each!
Today’s Kobachi (literally means small bowl) was Tofu.
The set also came with pickles - turnip and Shibazuke (Kyoto-style chopped vegetables pickled in salt with red shiso leaves).
When I turned over the grilled salmon……!
It’s beautiful! Looking deliciousss!!
The meat is so soft and it has a lot of fat!
The color’s perfect. I can’t stop eating rice.
The three Sashimi were octopus, salmon and bonito.
Put some wasabi soy sauce and eat it with rice!
Ahhhhh yummmmmmmmmm!
This was amazingly good!!
I drank off the miso soup. Nice and clean!
The 2 office ladies sitting next to us were getting another helping of rice! They needed more rice to go with the side dishes.
I am sure their work will go smoothly after a nice lunch!
I am so full now!
Goshisousama-deshita!
