Cute and Yummy! Heart-Shaped Waffle

Inside JR Tokyo station, there is a perfect little café for taking a little break. I would like to introduce you to “Madam Bla”.

As it is inside one of the biggest train stations in Tokyo, it might take a little time to get a seat.

You probably want to make sure you have a place to sit, before you go to the counter to make your order.

Luckily, I was able to get a two-persons table. The interior design is really nice. I like the blue teapot on the shelf!

Madam Bla is famous for it’s delicious sandwiches, but what I want to recommend is the waffle cake!

The little fluffy heart-shaped waffles are just adorable.

This time, I decided to get the Natsumikan Citrus and Nuts Waffle (\530).

After ten minutes of waiting… the waffle is here!

Have you ever seen such a cute dessert?!

The ice cream with vanilla beans looks really good as well.

Now, time to eat! “Itadakimasu!”

The crunchy nuts, the soft texture waffles and the refreshing citrus syrup all make such a great combination!

The vanilla ice cream isn’t overly sweet and goes really well with the waffles too.

The café uses organic sweetening syrup for coffee. I was able to enjoy the natural aroma of the coffee, without it being ruined by artificial sweetening, as it is in some cafés.

Madam Bla is the perfect little café if you want to take a break from busy train schedules at Tokyo station. Definitely a recommendation!
