“KAEDE” is a Dango (sweet rice dumpling) shop located near the Asakusa temple.
Walking around the Denpouin Street, I found it across from a potato shop.
This Japanese sweets shop is popular with local people and tourists.
The greatest features compare with other shops is dango have glutinous texture with a sweet flavor sauce.
Especially, Mitarashi dango (skewered rice dumplings in a sweet soy glazez) is a hot item so it is easy to be sold out.
But don’t worry about it. Staff inside the shop are working hard and supplying a deficiency.
Dango is popular with tourists. It looked delicious the way they ate it.
Therefore, a lot famous people came here. You can see their signed fancy papers!
Although, the most popular one is Mitarashi dango, Potapotamochi (a rice ball coated with sweetened red beans) and Goheimochi (soy-sauce flavored rice cake) are also looked delicious!
This is a newly made Mitarashi dango! It is steaming.
Bean jam and 3 colors dango are also looked nice!
Kintoki manjyu(a bun filled with sweet bean paste)is being steamed.
Inside the shop, staff is hard working and cooking dango.
This shop provides chairs for customers to relax and enjoy food.
Look at this color of sauce and charbroiled dango! Really beautiful!
Since dango is small, I bite just a little bit.
Wow! Sauce is a little sweet, but I really love this taste!!
Scorched mochi (rice cake) and sause are well-matched.
I ate it in a minute, so I ordered more two dango.
I don’t have aggravation after eating. It has glutinous and soft texture!
Now, I can understand why people love this dango!
Small dango has more deep taste compare with big dango because it is properly cooked.
After I ate 3 dango, I finally satisfied.
Luckily, I could enjoy newly made dango. It has glutinous texture and really delicious!
This taste becomes a habit. I will come here and eat dango again soon.
Gochisousamadeshita! (Thanks for the meal!)
