It’s not only Disney Land! Visit IKSPIARI for an unforgettable experience at Maihama

What is Maihama famous for?

That’s right, everyone’s favorite, Disney Land and Disney Sea!!

But but but! Let’s not forget about IKSPIARI, the shopping and amusement facility.

As you exit Maihama station, you will have Disney Land on the right and IKSPIARI on the left!

It is always filled with people who come visit on their way back from Disney Land. As it is indoors, the super popular entertainment facility is also the perfect destination on a rainy day.

Today I am going to show you around the super fun IKSPIARI ^_^

The entrance is so charming!

Don’t forget to take a picture by the iconic fountain!

As it is almost Halloween, there are Jack O’ Lanterns everywhere!

So adorable!

As I enter the building, I find myself surrounded by all sorts of interesting shops!

Hats, jewelry, watches, shoes and clothes….

There is something here for men and women of all ages. I’m sure you will be able to find something you like!

Walk straight from the entrance and you will reach the main event stage.

Live shows of various themes are performed throughout the year.

During Christmas season, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree will be set up!

Keep going further and you will bump into the Disney Store, where you can buy all sorts of fun Disney goods.

Go through the Disney Store, and… am I in Las Vegas?

We’re at the movie theatre!

That’s right! There is even a movie theatre inside IKSPIARI!

By the way, this tile flooring in front of the movie theatre is no ordinary floor.

Depending on the time, you might witness something strange!

Your voice or footsteps will suddenly echo in the whole area!! Be careful not to tell secrets when walking by here, you never know!

I really like this unique little trick!

Speaking of unique, there is a shop I want to show you.

In this jungle-like shop, you can purchase stuffed animals, fashion items and everyday goods with fun patterns.

Wow! The crocodile isn’t real, is it…?

Beneath this shop, there is a popular restaurant of the same jungle theme. You might experience a sudden rain shower, or hear sounds of animals growling.

Their menus include steak, and other dishes that everybody likes!
It’s definitely a fun place to take your kids! ^_^

IKSPIARI is really fashionable. It’s a lot of fun just walking around the stores!

Hungry for a snack?

Stop by Folletti Gerutta for fresh crepe or a fruit gelato!

I ordered the strawberry & banana & chocolate crepe (\450) for myself.

The flavorful smell fills the air as they start making the crepe.

Of course it’s tasty, but it’s also very cute! ^_^

Cute, tasty and playful. What more could I ask for?

There is a space to eat indoors, but I recommend sitting by the garden if the weather is nice!

That reminds me! I forgot to tell you about the beautiful garden at IKSPIARI!

It’s not far from the crepe shop. Behind the main even stage, there is a staircase that goes down to the basement. At the bottom of the stairs, you will find yourself in front of the gorgeous garden!

In the evening, the lightings inside the water will create patterns on the water surface. It’s indescribably beautiful!

Combined with the background music, the lightings create a romantic atmosphere.

As it was raining this day, unfortunately I’m not able to show you the beautiful view, but I promise, it’s worth a visit. I can guarantee you a wonderful experience.

If you’re lucky, during the day you might even see a wedding!

As the bride and groom kiss inside the gazebo, Mickey and Minnie will come out to celebrate!!

IKSPIARI has tables and benches both inside the building and outside by the garden. If you don’t want to, you don’t even have to do anything special. Just take a book, sit, and enjoy the special atmosphere.

Tired of walking? Don’t worry, I know just the place to go!

Treat yourself, and enjoy a relaxing massage!

Let’s return to the entrance and explore the food court in the basement this time.

Buy from the booth of your choice and eat at the common area. It’s a great and fun way to taste a variety of things when you can’t make up your mind!

It’s spacious, with lots of seats!

Go a little further, and you can get takeout sushi, bento and various ready-made dishes.

Here is the sushi shop.

Nice and colorful! It all looks delicious!

Among the sushi menus are California rolls and eel rolls, popular with foreigners.

Next to it, there is the osozai-yasan, where you can buy various ready-made side dishes.

Fried chicken, salads… everything looks delicious! I want to try everything!

And in front of it is my favorite Gindako.

From standard to unusual flavors, there’s every kind of takoyaki you can think of.

I can’t just stand in front of the shop and not buy anything! The fresh smell of takoyaki is too tempting.

I decided to get the six-piece negi leek takoyaki for ￥550.

The takoyaki are served in an ark-like box. Looks delicious!

The green of the negi looks really appetizing!

I cut one open using chopsticks.

I haven’t had Gindako in a while, but it’s as tasty as ever! ^_^

Crispy on the outside an fluffy and creamy on the inside. Be careful, it’s extremely hot!

Don’t eat the whole piece in one go, or you will burn your mouth!

I love the big chunks of octopus!!

I’m so satisfied! ^_^
