Kusatsu-yu is located in Ota-ku, Tokyo and it still has the old Japanese style. You can try 6 different baths and they rent you a kit at 100 yen, which contains things you need when taking a bath. Therefore, you don’t have to bring anything!
There are a bubble bath, an ultra sonic bath, a zaburo (bathtub with massage water flow, in which visitors can sit down), a neburo (bathtub with massage water flow, in which visitors can lie down), an electric bath, a water bath, and there is a sauna beside the open-air bath. The open-air bath is only for men.
The ticket cost just like a regular public bath facility even though this facility has more variety than any other!
Moreover, there is a cascading bath called ‘Gaiki yoku’ and a room for those who feel dizzy after taking a hot bath.
On the wall of the bathroom, there is a tile painting of a mountain.
Take your time watching this interesting paint!
I recommend you to use the sauna bath when you come to Kusatsu-yu. In a lot of facilities, you have to pay extra fee for taking sauna bath, but here in Kusatsu-yu it’s free!! The sauna is large enough for 10 people.
Many people in the area love Kusatsu-yu and it is said to be out-of-the-way spot. This is one of the finest public baths in Ota-ku, where there are a lot of public baths.
